To Apply or not to Apply?
Dearest Applicants,
I fully understand that the job market is not favorable and that man must survive as a result you apply for different job roles including those not in your field.
I applaud your zeal to diversify and explore other areas in your job search HOWEVER it’s detrimental to your application when you apply for different vacant positions in the same company.
I see alot of applicants apply for the different roles advertised all at the same time. Some are so bad that you use the same CV for all applications, HABA!!!
As a recruiter I won’t take you seriously, I won’t even read your resume. That’s the harsh truth.
This is what I advise:
Decide first what role you want and tailor your resume to show those skills required for that role
You might say but “Joy, I have skills that fit into several roles advertised”?
My answer is still the same: Decide which of the job roles you are BEST suited for and apply for that one. If the circumstances is a bit different, at the most, apply for just 2 positions with 2 different resumes addressing the skills required.
